Pennsylvania state Rep. Tarah Toohil took out a restraining order against her Republican colleague after he pulled out a gun on her.
According to the Associated Press, Toohil alleges GOP Rep. Nick Miccarelli once pulled a gun on her in 2012. Toohil also claimed that Miccarelli also threatened to crash a car they were both in while traveling at 100 miles per hour and “kicked, pinched and hit her.”
“She said she was so concerned about her safety she appended a note to her life insurance policy that said Miccarelli should be investigated if something happened to her,” AP’s report notes.
According to the report, a judge granted Toohil the restraining order which bars Miccarelli from contacting her and from possessing a firearm.
Miccarelli is also under investigation by the Dauphin County District Attorney’s office after two woman accused him of sexual assault.
