Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) is up for reelection this year and he’s putting it all on the line by choosing to run his campaign on conspiracy theories.
The Wisconsin Republican lashed out during an interview with conservative Charlie Kirk by falsely claiming that hordes of athletes are dropping dead on the field after getting vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine.
“The Faucis of the world are just blowing it all off, the Biden administration [says] nothing to see here,” Johnson said. “Of course we’ve heard story after story, I mean, all these athletes dropping dead on the field. But we are supposed to ignore that.”
