‘Stop Lying To Us!’: Sarah Sanders Gets Destroyed For Tweeting An Old Photo Pretending It Was About The Syria Attacks

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders wanted really badly to have a dramatic photo of the decision to bomb Syria, so she tweeted one. It didn’t workout so well.

On Friday night, Donald Trump announced that the United States, along with the United Kingdom and France, had launched military strikes in Syria in retaliation to the recent chemical weapon attacks in the country.

Trump faced immediate backlash, with even many Republicans speaking out against his decision to take military action against Syria without congressional approval.

In an attempt to defend the president, Sarah Sanders decided to tweet her support while throwing shade at Barack Obama over his “red line” remark.

“Last night the President put our adversaries on notice: when he draws a red line he enforces it,” Sanders said, in direct reference to Obama’s comments during his time in office.

She also attached a photo from inside the Situation Room showing the president and his team allegedly being briefed on the strikes in Syria. But there’s a problem.

It didn’t take long for Twitter to spot the problem with the photo and quickly fired back at Sanders’ blatant attempt to fool Americans.
