Say Goodbye To Religious Freedom, Trump’s New Order Brings Rise To Discrimination
Donald Trump is reportedly getting ready to welcome conservative leaders on Thursday to the White House for the signing on his latest executive order on religious liberty.
According to a report by Politico on Tuesday two senior administration officials confirmed the plan to be true.
The language of the order has not yet been finalized by White House lawyers, according to a source. But the draft is set to give businesses and individuals the ability to claim broad religious objections.
One conservative who spoke with Politico told the news source that the language from the order is still “very, very strong.”
When the order was first introduced in February it drew a lot of criticism from people arguing that it would allow discrimination against the LGBT community.
A similar legislation in Indiana caused a national controversy under Mike Pence.
