Scaramucci Gets Twitter Account Suspended After Calling Trump ‘The Fattest President’
Former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci, who has recently become a big critic of the president, called Donald Trump the “fattest president” since William Taft after Trump called out one of his own supporters for being overweight.
Scaramucci wrote on Twitter: “Said the fattest president since William Howard Taft,” in response to Trump’s attack on his own supporter.
Shortly after the tweet was published, Scaramucci’s Twitter account was suspended.
“I think it is related to ‘fat-shaming’ President Trump,” Scaramucci told Axios’s Jonathan Swan Friday morning. “I should have said he is the largest proportioned President since William Howard Taft. My bad.” Trump’s former communications director, who stayed on the job for less than one month, has become a critic of the president.
