Sean Hannity Blasts ‘Self-Important, Very Narcissistic Diplomat Snowflake’ Marie Yovanovitch

Fox News commentator and right-wing chief propagandist Sean Hannity lambasted impeachment hearing witness Marie Yovanovitch following her testimony before Congress, calling the former ambassador to Ukraine a “self-important very narcissist diplomat snowflake.”

Yovanovitch, who was pushed out after a smear campaign by Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, was such a compelling and sympathetic witness that the spectators burst into cheers and applause and gave her a standing ovation at the end of the hearing. Fox’s own Chris Wallace said, “you’d have to lack a pulse not to have been moved by her testimony.”

Hannity, however, couldn’t have been more pitty or more mean-spirited towards Yovanovitch.

“Welcome to the witch trial led by the congenital liar. By the way, what’s he so afraid of? Oh, that’s right. The truth. That’s what he’s terrified of. And that’s why we didn’t hear from an actual fact witness again. She knew nothing. As Devin Nunes said, “Why was she even there?” Hannity ranted on his show.

“We just get more testimony, and more testimony, yes, another self-important very narcissist diplomat snowflake who can’t take minor, tiny baby criticism, a witness to nothing. She had no reason to be there,” he continued.

“She witnessed no wrongdoing, knew nothing about what we’re discussing, no direct evidence of any misconduct whatsoever, no contact with the president, no contact with his chief of staff, no contact with anybody that really knew the president, no knowledge of anything being alleged by the Democrats. You cannot make this up. This is how sick Washington has become.”

Hannity’s tirade comes after Trump himself received widespread criticism and allegations of witness intimidation for ridiculing Yovanovitch on Twitter during her testimony before House lawmakers Friday.

Although Trump’s tweet did not directly threaten Yovanovitch, the law also covers intimidation and harassment, which is an impeachable offense punishable by up to three years in prison.

Hannity followed the president’s lead and repeatedly labeled Yovanovitch a self-important official looking to make a name for herself using the impeachment inquiry:
