Sessions Loses His Mind: Declares War On Reporters And Intel Services Over Leaks

Attorney General Jeff Sessions made a promise on Friday that he will be cracking down on leakers. He threatened journalists by saying they would be arrested if they revealed any classified information.

The attorney general called for subpoenas against reporters who leak out information. Sessions believes that the leakers are a threat to national security

“One of the things we are doing is reviewing policies affecting media subpoenas,” Sessions said. “We respect the important role that the press plays and we’ll give them respect — but it is not unlimited. They cannot place lives at risk with impunity. We must balance the press’s role with protecting our national security and the lives of those who serve in the intelligence community, the armed forces and all law-abiding Americans.”

“No one is entitled to surreptitiously to fight battles in the media by leaking sensitive government information,” Sessions said.

Sessions also stated that the Justice Department had received just as many referrals in the last six months to investigate the leaks as they did in the last three years.

“This nation must end this culture of leaks,” he said. “We will investigate and seek to bring criminals to justice. We will not allow rogue anonymous sources with security clearances to sell out our country.”

Sessions did not only attack reporters, but he sent out a dire warning to the U.S. intelligence services.

“I have this message for our friends in the intelligence community,” Sessions said. “The Justice Department is open for business, and I have this warning for would-be leakers: Don’t do it.”

What Sessions seems to be trying to do is protect Donald Trump and his whole administration by not letting the public see crucial information.

They know there’s information out there that could possibly harm them and they don’t want that to reach the public eye.
