Donald Trump has constantly denied any connections to Russia. And although he has praised Vladimir Putin, he has also insisted that they don’t even know each other.
A huge scandal has been lingering around the Trump administration about their possible connection to Russia. And it’s been proven that the Kremlin intervened with the 2016 presidential election in order to help Trump win.
In the latest news about Russia, a U.S. official reported that he believes that Russia knew about the chemical attacks in Syria before they happened. The official also announced that the U.S. will be investigating to see if Russia had any involvement with the attacks.
“We have no knowledge of Russian involvement in this attack, but we will investigate any information that might lead us in that direction,” the senior official said Friday. “We’re not done.”
On Monday Sean Spicer spoke during a press briefing where he referred to Russia as our “allies.”
This raises concerns since allies don’t typically try to influence each other’s elections.
