Star Wars Legend Mark Hamill Has Perfect Idea For What To Do With Trump’s Hollywood Star
It was voted on Monday night by the West Hollywood City Council that Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame should be removed. In response, Star Wars legend Mark Hamill suggested the star be replaced by that of his former colleague, Carrie Fisher.
Hamill tweeted this week:
“How about replacing it with someone who really earned it? Like @carrieffisher.”

The City Council decided to remove Trump’s star “due to his disturbing treatment of women and other actions that do not meet the shared values of the City of West Hollywood, the region, state, and country.”
Hamill has criticized the president in the past but claims to do it “in a fun way.”
“I don’t call him names — ‘Oh, you orange orangutan,’ — and all that. And I never use anger. I always try to be funny,” Hamill told Variety earlier this year.
Hamill, who was honored with his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in March, hopes to have his co-star, who passed away in 2016, join him.
