Stormy Daniels Just Sued Donald Trump Over ‘Hush Money’ Agreement: Report
Donald Trump is now being sued by Stephanie Clifford, the former porn star known professionally as Stormy Daniels he allegedly had an affair with back in 2006, according to NBC News.
“To be clear, the attempts to intimidate Ms. Clifford into silence and ‘shut her up’ in order to ‘protect Mr. Trump’ continue unabated,” the suit claims. “On or about February 27, 2018, Mr. Trump’s attorney Mr. Cohen surreptitiously initiated a bogus arbitration proceeding against Ms. Clifford in Los Angeles.”
The lawsuit asks a Los Angeles County Superior Court to rule the hush agreements “were never formed, and therefore do not exist, because, among other things, Mr. Trump never signed the agreements.”
Trump’s longtime attorney Michael Cohen admitted last month that he paid Daniels $130,000 out of his own pocket. Earlier this week, it was reported that Cohen complained about not being reimbursed for the “hush money.”
According to reports, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) wants Daniels to testify before Congress about Trump’s mental state.
