Addressing President Donald Trump’s response to Wednesday shooting at a Florida high school, a student who survived the horrific incident blasted the president, calling him a “f*cking piece of shit” for his tone-deaf reaction to the massacre.
In a tweet that quickly went viral, “Sarah,” urged Trump to take action in response to the shooting instead of offering prayers.
“I don’t want your condolences you fucking price of shit, my friends and teachers were shot,” she tweeted. “Multiple of my fellow classmates are dead. Do something instead of sending prayers. Prayers won’t fix this. But Gun control will prevent it from happening again.”
Her tweet was in response to this tweet from Trump, which was posted in the aftermath of what looks to be the second most deadly high school shooting in U.S. history, following the Sandy Hook massacre, with 17 people dead.
By Thursday morning her message had been retweeted 181,000 times and liked by more than 438,000 people.
