A suspect has been identified in the string of mail bombs that were sent out to Donald Trump critics in the past days. According to senior law enforcement officials, the suspect is 56-year-old Cesar Sayoc.
According to reports, investigators used forensic evidence to trace Sayoc to a mail processing facility in Plantation.
The suspect’s van was also found and it was covered in pro-Trump stickers and a few stickers with prominent Democrats with bullseyes on their faces. The van also had a sign that read: “I’m Donald Trump and I approve this message.”
Sayoc has been known for having a lengthy criminal record that dates back 20 years. He’s also a registered Republican.
