WATCH: Republicans Try To Shut Down Kamala Harris After Sessions Confesses She ‘Makes Him Nervous’

Tuesday’s Senate hearing with Attorney General Jeff Sessions looked similar to something we’ve seen before, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) was interrupted by a Republican Senator as she asked a question to a member of the Trump administration that made them uncomfortable.

During a questionnaire from the Democratic Senator, Sessions admitted that her questions to whether he had contacts with any “Russian businessmen or Russian nationals” were making him nervous.

“If I don’t qualify, it you’ll accuse me of lying so I need to be correct as best as I can,” Sessions demurred.

“I do want you to be honest,” Harris replied.

“And I’m not to be able to be rushed this fast,” Sessions remarked. ” It makes me nervous.”

That’s when republicans rushed to Sessions’ rescue. Right in the middle of Harris’s questions Sen. John McCain interrupted saying, “Chairman, the witness should be allowed to answer the question.”

Then chairman Richard Burr (R-NC) told both Harris and McCain, “Senators, you will allow the chair to control the hearing.”

But Harris did not stay quiet. After the hearing she took to Twitter to go after Sessions.
