Donald Trump has expressed time after time his belief that Mexico and the U.S. should be separated. Trump proposed to build a giant wall on the U.S.-Mexico border and received a lot of criticism for it.
Both Mexican and U.S. brewers have decided to mock the U.S. President for his hate towards Mexico with the latest Amigous Cerveza craft beer, which shows a frowning Trump in a sombrero and his trousers held up with a swastika belt buckle.
The back of the beer label states that Trump belongs “in a mad house, not the White House.”
“We knew that a Trump label was going to be controversial, but it’s been selling extremely fast,” said Luis Enrique de la Reguera, chief executive of brewery Casa Cervecera Cru Cru.
The beer launched in May, and to the creators’ surprise the original batch of 1,200 bottles and 400 liters on tap sold out in the very first week.
