Ted Cruz Boycotts Nike For Not Wanting To Make A Racist Design, Now He’s Getting Trolled Online

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) took to Twitter on Tuesday to complain after Nike decided to recall their Air Max 1 USA shoes after it was noted that the design featured a U.S. flag with 13 white stars, which had been appropriated by white nationalists.

Cruz tweeted out saying:

“Yep, I own lots of @Nike I’ve been a life-long customer, since I was a kid. But they’ve now decided their shoes represent snide disdain for the American flag. Since they don’t want my business anymore, I won’t buy any more. Can anyone recommend a good sneaker co that’s not so woke?”

It didn’t take long for Twitter users to troll Cruz over his “boycott.”
