On Friday morning yet another school shooting took place in our country and innocent lives were lost. Republicans, including the president, have continued to side with the NRA and have done absolutely nothing to stop mass shootings. The only thing they ever offer are “thoughts and prayers.”
That’s exactly what Texas Sen. Ted Cruz (R) did following the mass shooting that took place this morning at Santa Fe high school in Texas.
The Republican Senator took to Twitter and said:
“Heidi and I are keeping all the students and faculty at Santa Fe High School in our prayers this morning, along with all first responders on the scene. Please be safe and heed warnings from local officials.”
But people are tired of lawmakers offering “thoughts and prayers” and doing nothing about it.
