I think it’s safe to say that no one likes Sen. Ted Cruz’s (R-TX). But a Texas woman took that sentiment to a whole new level after wearing a sign around her neck that said “Texas deserves better than Cruz” and then posing for a photograph with — you guess it: Sen. Ted Cruz.
The woman posted the photo to Twitter with the caption: “Got to meet someone who supposedly represents me today. Not for much longer, though! #BetoForTexas @SenTedCruz @BetoORourke.”

She tagged Rep. Beto O’Rouke (D-Texas), who is challenging Cruz for his Senate seat.
The photo had received more than 116,000 likes and over 30,000 retweets as of Monday afternoon.
In a tweet posted Monday, the woman said she had tried to reach out to Cruz and others “through traditional channels.”
“I’m tired of voicemails. Many Texans feel like we’re screaming into a void,” she tweeted. “We feel powerless, and we feel ignored. When I saw Cruz onboard, I thought ‘This is my ONE opportunity to MAKE SOMEONE LISTEN.'”
O’Rourke earlier this month won the Democratic nomination, officially setting up his high-profile clash with Cruz in November.
