Teenager Kicked Out Of School After Accusing Teacher Of Racially Attacking Him: Report

A 16-year-old teen in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee was kicked out of school after he tried reporting a teacher who made fun of his ethnicity, according to local news station WSMV-News4.

According to the report, Mt. Juliet High School student Austin Verduzco collected signed testimonies from fellow students that hear social studies teacher Wes Tewmey call the student “Austin Fettuccine” in front of an entire classroom.

When Verduzco went to the principal to report the incident he was kicked out and sent to an alternative school. According to the report, the school administration accused him of spreading false rumors that his teacher is a racist.

Tewey contacted News4 and claimed that the story was “fake news.”

A Facebook post shortly surfaced after Verduzco was kicked out, claiming that Tewmey had a swastika tattoo and has made racist comments towards students in the past.
