Disgraced televangelist Jim Bakker issued a dire warning over the inevitability of a Trump impeachment last week. During his tirade, Bakker appeared to compared Trump to God and threatened “an explosion” if Trump is impeached.
“Somebody is lying,” Bakker fumed. “You can’t try to impeach a president on the word of somebody you don’t know who it is,” he added, referring to the whistleblower.
“There is going to be an explosion if you don’t stop it,” he warned. “People are not going to tolerate it anymore … I wouldn’t even be surprised if you don’t see quiet old ladies, like some of you sitting here, marching in the streets because America is not even going to be worth living in another year or two,” he said.
He then appeared to compare Trump to God.
“We can’t let people take over who hate God,” he ranted.
Of course, Bakker wants to pretend that every major point in the whistleblower’s complaint has not been confirmed by direct testimony by actual witnesses to the event. So if someone is lying, his name is Jim Bakker.
