The NFL Just Issued A Statement In Support Of Kaepernick And Trump Fans Aren’t Happy
The NFL decided to stand by former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick and issued a statement in his support saying that the issues he brought up “deserve our attention and action.”
Jocelyn Moore, the NFL’s executive vice president of communications and public affairs, issued a statement on Tuesday.
“The National Football League believes in dialogue, understanding and unity. We embrace the role and responsibility of everyone involved with this game to promote meaningful, positive change in our communities. The social justice issues that Colin and other professional athletes have raised deserve our attention and action.”

The statement comes a day after Nike revealed its newest ad embracing Kaepernick.
But not everyone was happy to see the NFL’s support for Kaepernick. Trump supporters were outraged and took to Twitter:
By taking a knee, who are you exactly protesting? All you morons including kaep are protesting something you dont even understand. So please answer this question by kneeling who are you meant to be protesting?

Nike pays Vietnam workers 20 cent an hour to make sneakers. Nike pays Krapernick millions to talk about inequality. Are we that stupid. Guess it’s “the in thing” to back Krapernick

What about the fans? DO we not matter? Do our needs not matter? Our needs are we are fed up with it all. These over paid whiners talk the game but never are walking it. POTUS gave them an opportunity to help on Prison Reform, they refused it. Right there, all talk, no action.
