Donald Trump started his presidency on the wrong foot, but has he done anything to change that. From everything he’s done and less than 70 days most people can agree that he hasn’t.
Trump started by going on an executive order rampage, signing order after order. He tried to ban Muslims from entering the country, that failed. He tried to get rid of Obamacare and replace it with something that wasn’t going to benefit the working class, so that failed too.
Gallup recently generated a new poll to see how Trump’s approval numbers changed after the complete breakdown in the Republican party after their attempt to gut Obamacare.
Well, the numbers haven’t improved. In fact, Trump just hit a new low, only 36 percent of adults polled approve of the job Trump is doing, against 57 percent who disapprove.
This breaks Trump’s previous approval rating in the Gallup survey, which was 37 percent just 10 days ago.
The president hasn’t been able to bounce back and gain the trust of the American people. His highest poll ratings were 46 percent just days after his Jan. 20 inauguration. Since then his numbers have plummeted.
Gallup polled 1,500 U.S. adults over 3 days between March 24–26 with a 3 percentage point margin of error.
