According to a White House party guest, Kellyanne Conway was overheard talking to reporters during a D.C. party on Friday night at the White House.
The guest, who witnessed Conway’s conversation, labeled the counselor as “leaker.”
Trump has blasted the media multiple times for sharing information based on leakers, claiming that the information is likely fabricated.
The witness who overheard Conway made an anonymous Twitter account named @KellyanneLeaks. The account shared multiple tweets, stating that Conway told reporters that Trump told her to “go out there and say ‘Jim Comey is going to have to wait and see about the tapes.’”
“I mean, that’s basically the same as ‘no comment,’” Conway reportedly said.

Conway decided to not comment when asked about the tapes on Thursday
“I can’t comment on that,” Conway said on Fox News before moving to discuss other portions of Comey’s testimony.
When asked again, Conway answered, “I can’t comment on that and actually the president himself has said he won’t comment any further on that.”
Trump himself also dodged questions about the tapes.
“I’ll tell you about that maybe sometime in the near future,” he told reporters during a White House news conference.
