Donald Trump said on Sunday that he wants to keep White House press secretary Sean Spicer around. He says that he won’t fire him because he “gets great ratings.”
“I’m not firing Sean Spicer,” Trump said, according to The Washington Post. “That guy gets great ratings. Everyone tunes in.”
Trump believes the presidency and the White House is just one giant soap opera. A man’s job security is determined by how good of ratings he gets.
Spicers firing is long overdue, the man constantly lies for the president. He has lied since day one when he made a false statement about Trump’s inauguration crowd. Recently he said during a press briefing that Nazi leader Adolf Hitler did not use chemical weapons during World War II, which was a lie, and then went on to reference concentration camps as “Holocaust centers.”
That statement drew the line and both Republicans and Democrats demanded he lose his job.
There is a lot of things wrong with this presidency and this just adds to it.
