These ‘Dangerous’ Grandparents Photos To Protest Trump’s Travel Ban Are Going Viral
Donald Trump said during his campaign that he would stop “terrorism,” but since becoming president he has only refused entrance to the U.S. to Muslim-majority countries.
Although Trump’s travel ban executive order was halted multiple times by the courts, on Monday the Supreme Court allowed his order to take effect on a limited basis.
The travel ban will block many travelers from six Muslim-majority countries from entering the U.S. for 90 days. The countries affected are Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen.
According to the court’s order, only people who have a “bona fide” relationship to a person in the U.S. can enter the country if they come from the six countries listed. But the Trump administration does not include grandparents in that category.
