Paul Manafor and Roger Stone, two former Trumo associates, have been under investigation for their role in the Russia/Trump scandal. On Monday both Manafort and Stone turned over documents to the Senate Intelligence Committee investigating the Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential election.
NBC News reported:
“Two former associates of President Trump — Paul Manafort and Roger Stone — have turned over documents to the Senate Intelligence Committee in its Russia investigation, a congressional source with direct knowledge told NBC News.”
According to The Hill, “The panel also reportedly sent document requests earlier this month to former Trump policy adviser Carter Page and former national security adviser Michael Flynn.”
Both Page and Flynn have yet to turn in any documents. On Monday Flynn decided to use his Fifth Amendment right and refused to turn over his records because of the “escalating public frenzy” surrounding the investigation, according to The Associated Press.
