Things Just Got A Lot Worse For Trump As Democrats Push For Further Investigation On Sessions

Every single Democrat in the House Judiciary and Oversight committees have demanded the Department of Justice to further investigate Attorney General Jeff Sessions for allegedly violating his “recusal” from the Russia probe after he encouraged Trump to fire former FBI Director James Comey.

The letter sent to DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz, which was signed by all 34 Democrats, accuses Sessions of violating his recusal when he “collaborated directly with President Trump to fire Director Comey” in May.

The letter continues, “Since the Department has failed to respond to multiple previous inquiries on this matter — despite promising to do so — we now ask that your office investigate and report back to us with any findings and recommendations you determine are warranted.”
