This Whole Thing Is a Criminal Enterprise

Let’s face it. Donald Trump is not a president, he is a mobster, and his family operates like a ruthless mafia family.

There’s hard evidence that Donald Trump has no qualms at all with blurring ethical lines and exploiting the presidency for his own benefit.

On Wednesday night, Trump proceeded to commit multiple felonies on national television, telling ABC’s George Stephanopoulos he would be happy to “accept dirt on his political opponent from foreign governments” in his 2020 re-election campaign.

And, just like a gangster, Trump said he doesn’t report crimes to the FBI. Gangsters commit crimes, and they keep their mouths shut. Call the FBI? Are you kidding?

Stephanopoulos looked like Lester Holt the day Trump told him on TV that he fired Comey because of “the Russia thing.” Trump has admitted that he didn’t think there was anything wrong with seeking Russian help when he begged them during the 2016 campaign, “Russia, if you’re listening,” and urged them to find Hillary Clinton’s missing emails. That’s what he does. That’s who he is.

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg of Trump’s criminal enterprise. He is also making bank off his corrupt Washington, D.C., hotel, his golf courses, and his real estate business, in full violation of the emoluments clause.

But it’s not just Trump who’s making millions of his presidency. Trump’s daughter Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner couldn’t care less about breaking the law in raking in dough while they hold positions of power in the White House.

Ivanka Trump, who also serves as an adviser in the White House, earned $4 million in 2018 from her investment in the Trump International Hotel in the nation’s capital, according to her personal financial disclosure, Bloomberg News reports.

Ultimately, both Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, earned between $28.8 million and $135.1 million in 2018 while the pair work in Trump’s White House, according to Vanity Fair.

Multiple entities are suing, saying Trump is violating the emoluments clause of the Constitution by profiting off the foreign governments who book rooms in the hotel while visiting Washington, D.C. — possibly in an attempt to influence Trump.

Earlier this month, The Washington Post reported that an Iraqi sheikh who’s been pushing the Trump administration to take a harder line on Iran spent 26 nights in the hotel just a few months after he urged the U.S. government to work with people trying to overthrow Iran’s government.

To remain “untouchable,” Trump has mastered the art of intimidation.” During his interview with Stephanopoulos, Trump warned FBI director Christopher Wray that if he does his job, he’ll be fired.

This should come as no big surprise to Wray, however. He watched it happen to former FBI director James Comey. He watched it happen to former deputy FBI director Andrew McCabe. Trump treats law enforcement officials like subcontractors on one of his buildings. Stiff the stupid fucker, and if he comes back at you, fire him. And if he doesn’t like that, sue him.

Are the Democrats up for this kind of open-field thievery and in-your-face treachery? Is anybody?

The American people have the power to end this in 2020.
