As he did back in 2010, Tom Hanks sent an espresso machine to the White House press room, and as he also did in 2010 he sent a little message along with it. But, this time the message was quite different.
Back in 2010, when Obama was president, Tom Hanks decided to send out an espresso machine with a note that read:
“I hope this machine will make the 24 hour cycle of news a bit more pleasant. Add water, insert pod, press button and report. All good things. Tom Hanks.”
He did the same thing this year.
“Thankx to @tomhanks for the new coffee machine for the schlubs in the WH press room,” Reuters reporter Steve Holland tweeted.

But the note he left for White House journalists this time gave a different message:
“To the White House Press Corps
“Keep up the good fight for Truth, Justice, and the American Way.
“Especially for the Truth part.”

As Trump keeps attacking the press, these words of encouragement will definitely help reporters push forward and keep reporting the truth, no matter what Trump says.
