Trump Ally Gets Humiliated After Begging GoFundMe For $2 Million To Help Trump In Mueller Probe
Michael Caputo, who worked as a staffer in 2016 for the Donald Trump campaign, launched a GoFundMe campaign this week in order to help longtime Trump adviser Roger Stone combat special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.
“My old friend Roger Stone has been under fire for two years, as FBI and Congressional investigators have been picking him apart like starved predators,” Caputo wrote on a GoFundMe page he created.
“Roger has done nothing wrong,” Caputo added.
“As you know, Roger has encouraged the (sic) President to run for the White House since 1988! He’s been behind President Trump all the way, all those years. He’s always had his back,” he wrote. “Now, Roger needs you to have his back.”
Caputo ended the begging by claiming that Stone’s legal fees will “be well over two million dollars in the end.”
But Caputo was humiliated after the campaign only received $795 total from 12 donors.
