Trump Announces He Will Have a ‘Busy Day Working’, Then Shows Up At The Golf Course
President Donald Trump on Wednesday morning insisted that he would spend his day taking meetings and working phones. But less than three hours later, he showed up at the golf course to spend the day swinging his club.
Earlier on Wednesday, President Donald Trump tweeted that he was keeping “a busy schedule,” despite the fact that it was the day before a national holiday.
“Will be having meetings and working the phones from the Winter White House in Florida (Mar-a-Lago),” the president wrote.

The White House also sent out a missive to reporters demanding that they report Trump had a full schedule on Wednesday.
“While the White House communications staff expects the press pool to have a ‘low-key day,’ the president will NOT have a low-key day and has a full schedule of meetings and phone calls,” the White House wrote, in a message posted by Politico’s Edward-Isaac Dovere.
