Donald Trump’s attorney took a desperate step over the weekend and threatened CBS to take legal actions against the network if it goes through with their plans to air the “60 Minutes” with Stormy Daniels, the adult actress that Trump had an alleged affair with in 2006.
According to a person familiar with Trump’s attorneys who spoke with BuzzFeed News, a “legal injunction” is already in the works to keep Daniels from speaking to the CBS program.
“We understand from well-placed sources they are preparing to file for a legal injunction to prevent it from airing,” the source said.
According to BuzzFeed, it was not clear of what the legal strategies were. It appears Trump’s legal team is doing everything in their power to keep the adult star from coming clean on television.
A new tweet just revealed CBS is planning to air the “60 Minutes” episode in one week.
A little update here: BuzzFeed News has learned that CBS plans to air the “60 Minutes” interview with Stephanie Clifford next Sunday, March 18. https://t.co/R15xWt2pzD
