INSANE: Trump Defends Putin, Disagrees With Mike Pence On Syrian Conflict
During the second presidential debate on Sunday, Donald Trump defended Vladimir Putin’s intervention in Syria and said that he disagrees with his own running mate Mike Pence on the Syrian conflict.
Addressing Trump, Martha Raddatz, one of the moderators, said: “I want to remind you what your running mate said provocations by Russia need to be met with American strength and that if Russia continues to be involved in airstrikes along with the Syrian forces, the United States of America should be prepared to use military force to strike the military targets of the Assad regime.”
“He and I haven’t spoken and I disagree,” Trump answered, and swiftly moved on to attack Hillary Clinton.
Pence appeared to be distancing himself from his running mate since the revelation Friday of Trump’s taped bragging about sexual assault. Pence canceled a planned appearance Saturday with Trump in Wisconsin.
