Donald Trump tried to play victim again on Friday night with his latest attack on the special counsel Robert Mueller’s ongoing investigation into Russian collusion.
Trump took to Twitter where he continued to call the investigation a “witch hunt” while claiming he’s innocent.
He tweeted:
“House Intelligence Committee rules that there was NO COLLUSION between the Trump Campaign and Russia. As I have been saying all along, it is all a big Hoax by the Democrats based on payments and lies. There should never have been a Special Counsel appointed. Witch Hunt!”

Trump’s tweet is contradicting and untrue. If the investigation was a “hoax” then 13 Russians and three Russian entities wouldn’t have been indicted for involvement in the 2016 campaign, but they have.
And if the investigation was a “hoax” then why did Trump sanction Russia from these findings?
Trump’s original tweet was deleted after he noticed a spelling error, which happens a lot with his tweets. His original tweet had the word “counsel” misspelled “councel.”
