For weeks, Donald Trump has denied Russian interference in the election. He even blasted U.S. intelligence agencies for reporting the hack and has gone out of his way to praise Putin. But now, the Donald has ran out of excuses in front of the latest bombshell report that proves he owes his victory to a foreign adversary of the U.S., and he’s almost losing his mind not been able to tweet a response, according to sources close to his campaign.
By now, even Trump knows the election was won unfairly. The U.S. was under a cyber attack and it ultimately decided the outcome of the election, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The FBI issued a report Friday as proof of Russia’s ploy to manipulate the election by hacking into classified U.S. files.
A joint analysis report released by the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security, codenamed Operation GRIZZLY STEPPE, details the cyberwarfare campaign conducted by agents of the Russian Federation during the election.
“These cyber operations have included spearphishing campaigns targeting government organizations, critical infrastructure entities, think tanks, universities, political organizations, and corporations leading to the theft of information. In foreign countries,RIS actors conducted damaging and/or disruptive cyber-attacks, including attacks on critical infrastructure networks. In some cases, RIS actors masqueraded as third parties, hiding behind false online personas designed to cause the victim to misattribute the source of the attack.”
There were two actor groups, APT29 and AP28, both of which were confirmed to have hacked into the Democratic Party system. Fist it was back in June of 2015, when they successfully hacked the DNC email servers. Then in the spring of 2016 they they were able to gather emails from Hillary Clinton’s campaign chair John Podesta.
It’s also been said by Russian politicians that the cyber attacks did happen and they were in favor of the Republican nominee. And now Trump and Republicans are telling Democrats to “Move on.”
