Trump Flees Reporters As He’s Questioned Over McCain’s Legacy
Donald Trump held a press conference on Monday announcing a new trade deal with Mexico.
“It’s a big day for trade. A big day for our country,” Trump announced.
The president was questioned about Senator John McCain’s death during the conference only to ignore them.
Trump has come under criticism in the past for attacking McCain.
According to ABC News Chief White House Correspondent Jonathan Karl, Trump heard a question regarding McCain’s legacy but chose to ignore it.
“In the Oval Office just now I asked @realDonaldTrump if he had any thoughts on the legacy on John McCain. He heard me but did not answer,” Karl wrote on Twitter.

According to the White House pool report, “President Trump didn’t respond to any shouted questions about McCain or others.”
“Mr. President any thoughts on John McCain?” reporters repeatedly shouted at the ender of the presser, yet Trump continued to ignore them.
