Donald Trump took to Twitter on Monday morning to claim that the coronavirus is under control and that a “cure” is coming soon.
“I am meeting with the major pharmaceutical companies today at the White House about progress on a vaccine and cure,” Trump tweeted. “Progress being made!”

One of Trump’s biggest selling points coming into this year’s election is the economy. But since the outbreak of the coronavirus, the economy has taken a big hit. And due to that, Trump claims that the virus is a “hoax” made to hurt his reelection chances.
