‘You’re a Tremendous Failure’: Trump Hammered For Whining About States’ Need For Medical Supplies

President Donald Trump got hammered on Thursday for saying that states hit by the coronavirus pandemic have an “insatiable need” for medical equipment and calling them “complainers.”

The president has faced criticism over his administration’s failure to coordinate the delivery of personal protective equipment, ventilators and other supplies needed by health care workers and others during the pandemic, and Trump blamed states for needing those items.

“Massive amounts of medical supplies, even hospitals and medical centers, are being delivered directly to states and hospitals by the Federal Government. Some have insatiable appetites & are never satisfied (politics?). Remember, we are a backup for them,” Trump Twitted.

“The complainers should have been stocked up and ready long before this crisis hit,” he added.

Trump’s attempt to shift the blame did not go over well.

Trump’s tweets come as unemployment claims surged to nearly 10 million since the coronavirus outbreak.
