Since Donald Trump took office there has been dozens of bullying incidents in schools provoked by Trump himself. According to a report, kids in schools across America have been referencing and quoting Trump to bully and harass other classmates.
BuzzFeed News reported on Tuesday that 54 cases coming from 26 different states have included a number of incidents in which students were harassed with references to Trump’s proposed border wall.
According to the report, one of the incidents included a third grader chasing a Latina student around the classroom yelling “build the wall!”
Another reported case was of an eighth grader who told a black classmate: “Now that Trump won, you’re going to have to go back to Africa, where you belong.”
Trump has caused dozens of bullying cases across the country. Kids take in what he says, they are listening and this is what the conclusion is.
During his campaign Trump told the Washington Post, “I am not a racist, in fact, I am the least racist person that you’ve ever encountered.”
The bullying is getting out of hand. A case in Louisiana involved white Students telling a Latino student “go back home” and chanted “build a wall” after he said he voted for Clinton.
“He didn’t want to go back to school,” the student’s mother told BuzzFeed. “He said he didn’t feel safe.”
BuzzFeed News interviewed many of the educators at these schools, most of them holding Trump responsible for all the bullying. They believed students were repeating the language and phrases they heard the president use or heard used at his rallies.
