Trump Is Selling Access To His Supporters’ Personal Info To Just About Anyone: Report
Donald Trump is disregarding his supporters personal information by selling it to just about anyone who is willing to pay for it, according to a report by The New York Times.
According to The Times, offering his supporters’ information “for rent to candidates, conservative groups and even businesses.”
The list is now available to rent “as long as the political group, org, nonprofit or business is not hostile to the president.”
An email obtained by The Times said that non-political marketers who want to sell access to Trump’s supporters will “most likely able to use the data with no problem.”
“Excelsior is offering the chance to email Mr. Trump’s supporters at a rate of $35 per 1,000 addresses — or more if the renter also wants to push posts into the Facebook timelines of supporters,” according to the emails obtained by The New York Times.
