Donald Trump’s attack on China continued this week when he claimed that the World Health Organization has been “China-centric” during the coronavirus pandemic.
Trump attacked WHO and claimed that they gave him bad advice about the virus from the beginning.
“The W.H.O. really blew it. For some reason, funded largely by the United States, yet very China centric. We will be giving that a good look,” he tweeted.
Trump went on to ask why the WHO had given “such a faulty recommendation,” apparently referring to the UN body’s recommendation against curtailing international travel to stop the virus which first spread from China.
“Fortunately I rejected their advice on keeping our borders open to China early on,” Trump wrote, referring to his decision to ban travel from the country.

Trump can blame anyone he wants, but at the end of the day, it was he who downplayed the dangers of the virus by not acting with a sense of urgency. To this day he still thinks it’s wise to open up churches for Easter.
The coronavirus death toll in America has surpassed 12,000 people.
