Donald Trump is filling up his cabinet with nothing but millionaires, so it’s no surprise to see that his next pick was none other than Omarosa Manigault(who appeared in the Apprentice in 2004 and then again in 2008, both times getting fired by the Trump himself).
Manigault will become the White House’s official public engagement czar on January 20. She was one of Trump’s most leading African-American supporters during the campaign and has been working with his transition team. Although her praise for Trump has brought forth a lot of criticism.
“Every critic, every detractor, will have to bow down to President Trump,” she said in an interview for a PBS “Frontline” documentary about the presidential campaign. “It is the ultimate revenge to become the most powerful man in the universe.”
Manigault made it through nine weeks of “The Apprentice” before she heard the words “You’re Fired!”. She said she has remained close to Trump over the years and served as his campaign’s director of African-American outreach.
It is still unsure what her job description is. The Trump transition team was not allowed to speak of the reality TV contestant’s role publicly.
