Trump Just Got BASHED By Former Swedish Prime Minister For Making Up “Fakes News” About Sweden
Former Swedish Prime Minister Carl Bildt fired back at Trump for the comments he made about Sweden.
“We’ve got to keep our country safe,” Trump said. “You look at what’s happening in Germany. You look at what’s happening last night in Sweden. Sweden, who would believe this? Sweden. They took in large numbers. They’re having problems like they never thought possible. You look at what’s happening in Brussels. You look at what’s happening all over the world. Take a look at Nice. Take a look at Paris.”
His comments appeared to refer to recent terror attacks in Germany and elsewhere, but no such attack has occurred in Sweden.
Trump did try to cover up for his mistake by saying he was referring to a report done by FOX News.
“My statement was in reference to a story that was broadcast on @FoxNews concerning immigrants & Sweden.”
Bildt fired back on Monday with a tweet. Saying:
“Last year there were app 50% more murders only in Orlando/Orange in Florida, where Trump spoke the other day, than in all of Sweden. Bad.”
Bildt tweeted the statistics after he had already responded to Trump’s comments over the weekend.
“Sweden? Terror attack? What has he been smoking? Questions abound,” Bildt tweeted.
