Donald Trump has had some awkward moments in his presidency but this one might take the cake. On Tuesday, the president awarded the Medal of Honor to an Iraq War veteran. During the ceremony, Trump detailed the heroics of Army Staff Sgt. David Bellavia but appeared to have made a major mistake during his speech.
Trump said that Bellavia was attacked by someone “wearing a wardrobe.”
“Then a third assailant burst out of a wardrobe — wearing a wardrobe,” Trump said.
Trump’s mistake was not brushed under the rug. People on Twitter decided to have a field day and brutally trolled Trump.

Trump was reading aloud and clearly doesn’t know that “wardrobe” can also mean “closet”. After saying that an assailant “burst out of a … wardrobe” Trump immediately corrected the text to: “…WEARING a wardrobe…”
