Trump Just Insulted Europe With Incredibly Racist Statement Over Their Immigration Policy
It’s no surprise by now that Donald Trump is completely against immigration. He doesn’t like it when it happens in the United States, and now he’s expressing his hatred towards immigration in Europe.
During an interview with The Sun, a British tabloid, Trump said that it’s a “shame” that Europe is letting “millions and millions of people” migrant to their continent. The U.S. president said that Europe is “losing its culture” because it allows asylum seekers from the Middle East and Africa to enter the continent.
“Allowing the immigration to take place in Europe is a shame,” the U.S. president told the tabloid, which is owned by conservative media mogul Rupert Murdoch.
“I think it changed the fabric of Europe and, unless you act very quickly, it’s never going to be what it was and I don’t mean that in a positive way,” he continued.
Trump’s comments came shortly after his tense meeting with NATO officials at the summit in Brussels.
“I think you are losing your culture,” he told the tabloid. “Look around. You go through certain areas that didn’t exist ten or 15 years ago.”
Trump sold his immigration policies during his campaign, promising to crack down on illegal immigration and building a wall on the southern U.S.-Mexico border.
This is what led the Trump administration to instate their “zero tolerance” policy that divided thousands of migrant children from their parents.
