Trump Just Told Foreign Leaders To Interfere In Next Year’s Election During Rant Attacking FBI
Donald Trump just openly admitted that he would let a foreign intelligence interfere in next year’s elections if it meant getting dirt on his political opponents.
The entire reason behind the Mueller investigation was because Russia interfered in 2016’s election in order to help Trump win. At first, Trump said he never obtained help from Russia. He then changed the narrative to say that he did receive help but it wasn’t illegal.
Trump said Wednesday in a new interview with ABC News that he would be happy to accept more election help from foreigners. And to make things worse, he also claimed that he would not even let the FBI know if he obtained help from foreign powers.
“If somebody called — Norway — ‘We have information on your opponent.’ Oh, I think I’d want to hear it,” Trump said.
“You want that kind of interference in our election?” asked interviewer George Stephanopoulos.
“It’s not an interference! I think I’d take it,” he said. “If I thought there was something wrong, I’d go maybe to the FBI.”
Trump went on to attack the FBI during the interview.
Take a look at his wild remarks in the video clip below:
