Trump Just Wrote Fox News Op-Ed Whining About The ‘Dark Days’ By Attacking Dems And Saying Nothing About Recent Acts Of Terrorism
Donald Trump wrote a Fox News op-ed on Monday claiming that if Democrats win the House and Senate tomorrow that there will be “dark days” to come, yet he didn’t say one word about the recent acts of terrorism committed by his own supporters.
“For many Americans, the Great Recession brought dark days we will never forget – and never want to repeat,” Trump began in the editorial.
Trump claimed that “thanks to Republican leadership,” Americans finally have “hope.”
He then touted the 250,000 jobs added to the economy “in the last month alone.”
But not once did he mention that one of his supporters was so crazed that he decided to send multiple pipe bombs to prominent Democrats and critics of the president. He never mentioned the white supremacist who took a gun to a Pittsburgh synagogue and killed 11 people. No, he only touted about Republicans bringing up the economy and Democrats wanting to destroy the country, an accusation that is backed without any facts.
“African-Americans, Hispanic-Americans, and Asian-Americans have the best job prospects in history,” Trump wrote. “The employment outlook for women is the best in more than 65 years.”
“With your vote, we will keep lifting millions of our citizens from welfare to work, dependence to independence, and poverty to prosperity,” Trump concluded. “And together, we will build a future of safety, security, prosperity, and freedom for all our citizens.”
