According to court filings obtained by several news outlets, Donald Trump’s lawyers admitted they met with him in pairs to ensure he wouldn’t lie about their meetings.
Documents published by Buzzfeed, related to several of Donald Trump’s bankruptcies in the early 1990s, were being examined by reporters when it was discovered that Trump’s lawyers would not meet with him individually.
In a 1993 filing, Trump’s lawyer testified they had to meet with him in pairs because of his history of lying to them.
