Trump-Loving Jerry Falwell Says Founding Fathers Would Approve Of Trump, Gets Instantly Torched
Liberty University President Jerry Falwell, Jr. took to Twitter on Thursday to claim that the Founding Fathers would’ve approved of Donald Trump and his unpresidential ways because that’s what the Revolutionary War was fought for.
Falwell tweeted out saying:
“We have been duped into viewing politicians as royalty when our Founders intended them to be only temp public servants. Complaints @realDonaldTrump is not “presidential” are because he acts like one of us-exactly why our Founders fought in Rev War to win independence from royalty.”

But Falwell’s tweet did not go unnoticed and people on Twitter bashed him for claiming that Trump is “like one of us.”
He acts like one of us? Did you just call yourself an adulterer, sexual predator, and treasonous felon? That’s what it sounded like on my end…

No, I have never thought of them in that way. I see them as what they are, employees. I would never hire someone like Donald Trump. I would, however, quickly fire him. He does not act like me at all. No. 1 difference is that I don't lie. Stop pretending to be a Christ follower.

Care to comment on the pervy priests in the Catholic church that like to molest children?

Please don’t excuse bad behavior.

Maybe acts like you, but he certainly doesn't act like me.

Hey, great job rationalizing infantile behavior! To be clear, the FFs definitely did not, contrary to your claim, wage a revolution in order to promote immaturity. They absolutely did not.

WTF are you talking about? I don't act like that asshole! pic.twitter.com/V6XU6jRF8J

No, he doesn’t act like one of us. My very religious Baptist grandparents would be horribly embarrassed and disgraced if I said or tweeted just one thing like DJT does on a regular basis. You should be, too.
