Trump-Loving Joe Arpaio Praises Trump As His ‘Hero’ While Bashing John McCain: Watch
Joe Arpaio, formally known as the most racist Sheriff in America, praised Donald Trump on Tuesday and called him his “hero” while also claiming that Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) was not a hero.
Appearing on MSNBC, Arpaio agreed with host Kasie Hunt that McCain was a “patriot” but couldn’t go as far as to call him a “hero.”
Hunt pressed Arpaio: “A hero?”
Arpaio paused for several seconds.
“That’s hard for me to answer,” the former sheriff said.
“Why?” Hunt questioned.
That’s when Arpaio chose to praise Trump instead of calling McCain a hero.
“Because I never had a hero in my life until several months ago,” Arpaio explained. “I woke up and after 75 years, I found my hero. You know who that person is? Donald Trump.”
Arpaio was once found guilty for racially profiling Latinos but shortly after becoming president, Trump decided to pardon the former sheriff.
