Conservative Radio Host Rips Trump, Says He’ll Face Farmer-Led ‘Impeach’ March If He Doesn’t Fix Trade War
It’s not just Democrats who are fed up with Donald Trump’s policies, it’s his own voters who are getting ready to turn on him according to conservative radio host Steve Deace.
Appearing on MSNBC, Deace sent a dire warning to the president, saying that he should gear up to a farmer-led “impeach Trump” march if he doesn’t fix his trade policies.
“Steve, I read today one Republican senator from a red state said he was concerned because he had seen less Make America Great Again hats when he has gone home,” MSNBC host Katy Tur asked. “Are you seeing less Make America Great hats out there or more or the same?”
Deace noted that things aren’t going so well in the state that went for Trump in 2016.
Noting the awkward Trump appearance with Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds (R), Deace said:
“The look on our governor’s face in the video you played a few minutes ago when Trump was trying to spin this to his favor, she had this look,…”
“This is the kind of district nationwide that’s going to determine who owns Congress or not next year,” he explained. “I would be marching up to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and put it to the president and say, ‘Hey, I just want to know, I mean, do you want just to have nothing but impeach Trump next year?’ The way we are going, we are going to lose seats like mine all over the country and Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) will be the speaker. So, yeah, I do think this is a dangerous time for them, no doubt about it.”
